Season 2, #9: You'll understand too late.
When all is said and done, these are the questions that always linger:
"What could I have done then?
What should I do now?"
Thank you for the restack and comment! I hugely appreciate it.
I suppose at the end of the day we are locked into the now whether we like it or not. Best enjoy it!
"My hopeful messages
Lost in the space between us
- we are lightyears apart."
I think this is the most beautiful line in the poem. You did a good job at making me feel how you did.
Thabks Rick for the comment and restack! I really appreciate it. Yes i think that might be the axis on which the poem sits in many ways.
David,
Love shines through your poem
Beautiful, thank you
Jim
Thank you Jim for the comment. Hope you are doing well!
Hi David,
Thank you.
I am doing well, albeit I am heading into hospital tomorrow for a procedure, I feel very positive about it.
I am not well up on IT but can you tell me how I might put a few poems up on Substack.
I have been writing for a while but not yet got a chance to publish
I would appreciate your advice when and if possible
Regards
Of course! I will email you on some more information as you cannot do it with your phone (easily) and you'll need to use a laptop or computer. But once you know how it is quite easy.
This is powerful. And beautiful.
About love. And the stretch to connect across the abyss.
The will without the way. The impulses, emotions and energies that magnetise us that way, it could be what it's all about.
