I like the seasonal approach and I must ask, is that an artichoke in the photo?

I think it is, I must admit I am not certain but we often visit a nearby farm and we deduced that it must be artichokes they were growing at this particular plot. I found these to be almost sculptural in their shape and firmness. I couldn't help but take a photo... And the photo has no relation to anything I wrote, I just took it recently and thought I'd lob it into this post so it had some sort of visual.

David, I am so glad to have discovered your poetry. It enriches my day. I’m looking forward to more.

Likewise, LeeAnn. Great to have discovered so many great writers on substack. Thank you for reading and showing so much support this season!

I like the seasonal approach. Us humans are so prone to it. I’m sure it helps as a writer too. It’s fun to beat one theme to death in prose for a given period of time.

Thanks so much for the feedback! Yes I think i will keep at it.

What a graceful bow, bravo David! And I'm inspired by your seasons and groupings. I'm not sure I have a pattern. (I would need to print them all out!)

Lovely writing. Here's to what comes next!!
