Lovely image, and accompanying piece, should be up in a cafe in Blackrock, David! Really like the zoom in, zoom out of the noticing and muse, and there's a lovely beat and sound to the words.

Gorgeous poem and collage. The line "And flipped its innards overboard" startled me each time I read it.

Really enjoyed this one, David, especially the creative use of science/metallurgy terms in the first stanza.

This is a good poem and all those images make it even better. But one thing, why permanent things? Nothing stays forever. Why to call it that. It reads like irony to me. Well, maybe you had your good reasons.

Caught by the rhythm of it, I keep reading until it wears me down "into another permanent thing".

Gorgeous, David!!!
